in early june, while the sun
sank at eight, I watered the
trees and caught the swirl of perals
and hum of bees from the bird cherry.
with every breeze the flowers snowed,
and the light was perfect and the
sky was blue, and for that moment I was
lost in the arms of the cherry tree.
