an 8x10 print of the inside cover poem from issue 17, written by Megan Crawford
meet me in golden hour light,
sun fracturing through the cedars
in a blanket of fern,
encircled by plumes of forget-me-nots
find me where the wild strawberries grow,
the air ripe with honeysuckles
(remember,
when we would pluck
honeysuckles from the vine
for one sweet drop of nectar?)
where the stars meet the river—
I’ll be there in smoke and flowers and mist.
in reverence
of the great expanse,
the smallest blossom,
a universe on its own.
